Student Council
The Cameron County High School Student Council is comprised of students in grades 7 – 12 who have been chosen by their peers to represent their individual grade levels. This group provides our students various leadership opportunities as well as avenues to learn teamwork, commitment, discipline, and planning skills.
Throughout each school year, Student Council members organize and participate in various school activities such as school-wide dances, a district-wide recycling initiative, and various Homecoming activities. Student Council members also spearhead activities that promote school spirit such as pep assemblies, themed spirit weeks, and holiday hallway decorating.
